Information about Abstract

We are delighted to announce an international symposium on stem cell research to be held in Shanghai on November 6-9, 2007. This meeting is co-organized by Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIBS/CAS) and several other research institutions in China, together with the International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR). This meeting will bring together more than 25 international speakers (see a partial list) and over 20 domestic speakers who are stem cell biologists residing in China, to discuss the latest advances from their laboratories. There will be about 300 scientists participating this event. We are also now soliciting submissions of abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Submissions are due on August 15, and should be made together with your early registration. This meeting is intended to provide opportunities for increased interaction and understanding between stem cell researchers from China and other parts of the world, and we are striving to ensure it will be an exciting, fruitful and enjoyable event for all participants.
Shanghai is one of the most attractive cities in China, integrating both Chinese traditions and western culture, and an exciting mix of historic custom and modern enjoyment.
Please mark your calendar for this event, and contact us for further information and assistance.
Looking forward to seeing you in Shanghai this November!
